Digital Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (T.E.N.S)

T.E.N.S. is a method of pain relief involving the use of a mild electrical current and the machine is a small, battery-operated device that has leads connected to sticky pads called electrodes.

The Digital T.E.N.S. applications are now made using self adhesive, pre gelled electrodes which have several advantages including reduced cross infection risk.

Make sure the machine is switched off before you attach the pads to your skin. Position the pads either side of the painful area.
